The best Gift Ever!

This morning I was feeling completely overwhelmed with life. I had a preschool shoot. Hours of work still lying ahead of me! LB couldn't find her shoes. My house was a mess; nothing was really going very smooth. I had talked with Heather on the phone while on my way to the preschool shoot telling her all about my troubles! When I got home from the big shoot the sneak was here cleaning away. She had a gold canyon candle burning with Ms. Claus' kitchen. My house felt so warm and clean. The floors were clean, bathrooms done, dust gone. I could go on and on. What a gift! The gift of service was more than a gift. My worries changed to gratefulness. It's amazing how that works.
Thank you Heather for giving me peace while I work tonight to know my house is clean and laundry done. What did I do to have such a good friend? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You will never know the burden you lifted today!

Ohh that is so nice! What a great friend. My best friend did that very same thing for me. With having company in for the holidays and numbers changing right up to the last hour, I have stressed myself right into fever blisters. I used to get them all the time. I didnt think I was stressing but my body always tells me so by breaking out in these nasty blisters. Anyway, my best friend cleaned the entire house, garage and has taken the entire week off. I am so grateful too. Now, only my parents are coming for thanksgiving! grrrr, ugghh.. whatever. LOL

Gretchen, I seem to remember I time you did something similar with me at someone else's house! You are a good friend, too. What comes around goes around or Pay it Forward or Whatever.

I am very happy you have a clean house. Problem is... you are all coming here for Thanksgiving... who is going to clean my house???!!???
