i love this and needed to read it tonight. i'm really struggling with my in laws and recent conversation with them where i had to 'tell it like it is' to protect my family. i did it respectfully and with the spirit so i don't feel bad about my words but now they are defensive and angry/upset with me. I need to stand by my convictions despite what they may think is ok behavior. I am proud of myself for standing for something righteous despite the reporcussions (sp?). still I feel bad it has come to the current state and I pray it can be smoothed out. we will see. but thank you for the quote that helps me feel sustained as i struggle tonight for my feelings on my situation. i love you. xoxo
