After much prayer and pondering and talking and prayer and pondering and talking-----I am an official college student again!!! I can't believe I said it but I figured--- it was out...between my mom and my husband, they are telling everyone. I was going to wait and just see if there were really any brain cells left in my brain before I spilled the news but it's out!!!
This has by far been one of the hardest decisions I have had to make in a long time but we have been feeling like I needed to do this for a very very long time! I just really didn't want to and have been fighting the prompting for a very long time. So I will be wife, mommy, photographer business owner, church calling person, cheerleader for football and cross country, wrestling, boy scouts, and dance, and now a 34 year old Early childhood major Jr. in college student!
I had come to the conclusion that I would just talk to them and see what they say. When I found out I had 75 credit hours (only needing 120) How could I not go back? THEN I found out not all those will work any more but lots of them will-so what the heck-5 classes-16 hours...I hope my brain will still work! So if you see me and I forget to talk please be patience with me I am trying to add or remember when a sentence ends and begins!!!

You can do it, Wonderwoman!! Good luck!!!
you do realize that Early Chidhood means you have to work with little kids.
EEEEWWWWWW!
And yes, I have 6 kids, but you could not pay me to be around preschoolers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about a nice history degree. Or Literature. Or paleontology.
Those are all magors I had for a moment or two.
You probably think little kids are cute and sweet. They are actually plotting to take over the world!
Just watch you back, sister.
I guess someone has to do it though :-)
On a side note my girls are so excited for the M'Boro contigency to arrive today.
So they can work on their world domination plot. Or talk about Nancy Drew books.
Wow! I'm exhausted just thinking about it. It will all work out somehow since this is something you feel directed to do. Don't forget to blog the little cute and fun things that happen so you don't forget they happened despite all the craziness. I am so glad I did last year, as I don't remember much of it.
You go girl! Maybe you can run into Stephan, Jen Browning, and Sharon Bell on campus & go to lunch...that is if you have time to eat with all you've got going on!
Gretchy poo...I am flirting with it too...we need to talk...soon....and Congratulations. You will do great.
oh yeah becky maybe I'll loose weight cause I'll forget to eat!!! RIGHT
Katie-let's go. I would love it if you were with me flirt right onto the mtsu website..come on girl! At least I wouldn't be the oldest in my class!! HA HA!!
woah, that is a huge decision. It isn't so much a huge decision to go back to school. Many people do it later in life. Usually they have nothing to do.
I am with Jen S, don't forget to capture your moments, whether it be through blogging or writing or photography.
You put me to shame, girlfriend.
Here, I was thinking I am too busy. I am doing everything yet enjoying nothing, and doing nothing well. I know you can do this because you have put it to prayer AND HF provides a way so that we can do his will. Having Warrior start his senior year, my second begin high school and my baby in 3rd grade. It is jarring to see how quickly time flees.
::cue the music::
LET THE FORCE BE WITH YOU! GOOD LUCK!
ps. (If I see men running around in tiny white jackets, I will come free you and feed you mush through a straw)and have you sit and listen to me sing karaoke to you! (TURN AROUND.... every now and then...trails off
WHOO-HOO...you go girl!!!
I am so glad that you have finally given in to what you have been feeling for so long.
If anyone can do this YOU CAN!
PS. Do you think that wherever you get hired they will let me be your EA? ;)
G, you have to read my post entitled ride em' cowboy! I thought Mr. Incredible was going to have a cow. He almost made me take the post down, until he read all the sweet comments about him. I requested help from you, just in case.
Go Gretchen! You are amazing and YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Wow!
Congradulations!!!
